Brian is a strong advocate of design thinking to unlock profit that’s more purposeful and purpose that’s more profitable. His career spans branding, product development, advertising, digital, loyalty programs, nonprofit advising, promotions, strategic consulting, retail, partnerships, trade, and cause marketing for iconic brands and organizations including:
Pizza Hut, SiriusXM, American Airlines, Salesforce, Chobani, American Heart Association, Adobe, Electrolux, UNICEF, Caesars Entertainment, Dr Pepper, Make-A-Wish, and more.
Over 30 years, Brian has honed his servant leadership style with a consistent drive to do work that makes people feel something, do something, and say something. He has a passion for leading brands to find and articulate their true purpose that enables sustainable growth.
At Jamblee, Brian serves as a marketing consultant and Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to companies, SMEs, emerging businesses, and nonprofits. He’s also a guest lecturer on “Marketing With Meaning” at The University of Texas at Austin and SMU, and remains a Partner in Matchfire – a brand, design, and digital agency focused on purpose-driven brands and marketing.
Brian previously held senior positions at Omnicom Group’s TracyLocke, co-founded a design consultancy, and started his career at The Richards Group, one of the nation’s largest independently owned ad agencies. He graduated with High Honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a minor in Business.
